Smashbox Halo Tinted Moisturizer Product Info
- $41 for 1.4oz full size or $16 for 0.41oz mini ($29.28 per oz full size/ $39.02 per oz mini)
- 20 shades (12 shades available in travel size)
- SPF 25
- “lightweight, natural-looking dewy coverage that hydrates skin for up to 24 hours”
UPDATE: I purchased the shade Tan-Olive in March ’23, and that shade matches my skin even better than Tan-Dark does! Shout-out to makeup brands who realize brown skinned people aren’t all warm toned and can have olive undertones too.

Halo Healthy Glow Application
This tinted moisturizer blended into my skin really nicely just using my fingers. The shade tan-dark matches me well in the winter, but I’d go up a shade or two for the summer. I layered a little extra product around my mouth and under my eyes for more coverage. That extra product didn’t look cakey or anything which was great. After application, it looked like my skin but better which is exactly the look I’m going for.
After wearing this tinted moisturizer for 10 hours, my skin still looked really good! A tiny bit of shine in my t-zone but nothing excessive. The shade may have oxidized a bit since the after picture looks a little darker, but it doesn’t look bad. My face didn’t feel heavy or greasy either, which sometimes happens after wearing makeup for long periods of time.

So Is The Smashbox Halo Tinted Moisturizer Good?
I love this tinted moisturizer! I think this is an amazing product that has a good shade range and held up well on my oily/combination skin. (Bonus points for offering travel sizes, even though the mini isn’t available in all 20 shades). It blended in easily with my fingers and made my skin look really healthy.
โ On a scale of 1-5 (1=bad, 2=meh, 3=fine, 4=good, 5=great), Iโd give this 5 stars โ – if you’re looking for a one-and-done type of complexion product to give you light/medium coverage with a skin-like finish, you’re gonna love this
