About Me

Welcome to my blog! If you’re a millennial woman working in a STEM field who loves her job but doesn’t want it to be her whole life, this is the place for you! You’ll learn about my life as a forensic scientist, as well as what I like to do to take care of myself and have fun outside of work. I believe that women in STEM are multifaceted and should be allowed to embrace all sides of ourselves!

As much as I love working in science, I’m more than just my job title. Some of my passions outside of work include skincare, doing my nails, crocheting, listening to podcasts, and making my house as cozy as possible ♡

I am a…

Forensic Scientist

After earning two Bachelors degrees and a Masters degree, I now work full time as a forensic toxicologist – a dream job for the girl who used to watch CSI & Forensic Files all the time!

Skincare Enthusiast

While working part time at Sephora through grad school, I became a skincare consultant which lead to me falling in love with skincare! I love learning about different ingredients and finding the best products for my skin.

Nail Polish Fanatic

I’ve always loved doing my own nails- it’s a form of self-care for me. I originally started my blog to share DIY manicures I’ve done. Although I’ve since expanded what my brand is about, manicures are still a big part of my life!
