Time for some nail mail! I placed another order from Black-owned nail brand OOO Polish, and I’m here to share swatches of the colors I bought this time. Check out this post for my OOO Polish review.*not sponsored*

All photos are of my natural nails, and were taken by me in front of a window for natural light.
- π° Aja special lacquer – a soft red with pink/coral undertones – not very sheer and only needed 2 coats (OOO Polish sometimes sells discounted colors from batches that are slightly off from the desired shade, and they’re marked as ‘special’. This specific shade is sold out, but the original Aja shade should still be available)
- π° Baol lacquer – a pure white shade – this shade is pretty sheer and took 3 coats to reach full opacity
- π° Fon lacquer – a chocolate brown shade with red undertones – another slightly sheer shade that took 3 coats for full opacity
- π° Sunni Ali Ber lacquer – a bright blue shade that’s perfect for summer -not as sheer and only needed 2 coats
- π° Ijaw gel polish – a neon green/yellow shade – very sheer, but extremely bright and fun, almost seems like glow in the dark!
I layered the Ijaw gel over white polish on my right hand, which made the neon green less transparent and you can’t see visible nail line through it. I only needed 2 coats of Ijaw over the 3 coats of white for full opacity. NOTE: Use the same type of polish when layering! I used white regular polish, let it dry for 8+ hours, and then layered the gel on top… but it still chipped off way faster than if I had used all gel polish or all regular polish.
Which shade is your favorite of the 5 shown here? I think I like the neon gel the most, with the red coming in close second! You can buy your own at π° ooopolish.com.
