SC Matte Perfection Tinted Moisturizer Application

This matte tinted moisturizer is a lightweight texture that blended in nicely with my fingers. (I don’t like using brushes and sponges when doing minimal makeup like this). It gave me very light coverage and evened out my skin tone while still letting my skin look like skin. I’m wearing the shade Tweed which was a little orange for me, but it doesn’t look that bad once blended in. This is a matte tinted product so it did dry down but didn’t look cakey or overly dry which is nice.

Is Sephora’s Matte Perfection Tinted Moisturizer Good?

This is a nice matte tinted moisturizer! The shade I bought was a little more orange than I would have liked, but it’s sheer so didn’t look that bad. The fact that it’s less than $20 is great and I think 16 shades is a good starting place. (They could definitely add more though) It has a nice lightweight texture that blended in well with my fingers, plus it lasted all day and then some. I had a long day at work so I wore this for 13 hours instead of just 10, and it took like 7 hours before I even started looking shiny! It didn’t look cakey as a matte product either, just held up against my oily skin throughout the day. Definitely recommend it!

☆ On a scale of 1-5  (1=bad, 2=meh, 3=fine, 4=good, 5=great), I’d give this 4 stars ☆ – it’s a very nice matte tinted moisturizer, with a decent shade range and good price point.
